Terms and conditions

1. Provider and scope

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in the buzzerworld online shop at buzzer-world.com. Your contracting party is Sebastian Paul Schuchmann, trading as buzzerworld, Stresemannallee 11, 60596 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, email: schuchmannsebastian@gmail.com, telephone: +49 173 2706148.

The range includes USB and Bluetooth buzzers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or independent professional activity. The rights expressly provided for consumers below apply to consumers.

2. Ordering and formation of the contract

The presentation of products in the shop is not yet a binding contractual offer. You may initially add products to your cart without obligation. You can change quantities and selections or remove items there. Before submitting your order, you can check and correct your delivery and billing details and the order overview.

By confirming the final order or payment button (including the payment dialogue for a wallet), you make a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. We accept this offer through the order overview displayed immediately afterwards, including the order number and payment status. The contract is thereby concluded. Subsequent confirmation of receipt of payment is not an additional requirement for formation of the contract.

The language of the contract is German. We store the order details. Immediately after the contract is concluded, the contract confirmation containing your order details, these terms and conditions and the withdrawal policy, including the model withdrawal form, is available as a downloadable file in the order overview. Please save this file for your records. If email delivery is configured, you will also receive the confirmation by email. You can save or print these terms using your browser before ordering. No customer account is required to place an order.

3. Prices, coupons and shipping costs

All prices are stated in euros and are total prices. As a small business, our sales are exempt from VAT under section 19 UStG; VAT is not shown separately.

Shipping per order costs €6.90 within Germany. Orders with a goods value of €100.00 or more are shipped free of charge within Germany. Shipping to the other EU countries offered during checkout costs €19.00 per order, regardless of the goods value. Shipping to the United Kingdom and Switzerland costs €29.00 per order, regardless of the goods value. The free-shipping threshold is based on the value of the goods before any coupon deduction. The total amount, including shipping, is shown before the order is submitted.

Coupons are subject to the conditions communicated when they are issued. Unless stated otherwise, one coupon may be redeemed per order; combining multiple coupons or receiving a cash payout is not possible. A percentage discount applies to the goods value, not shipping costs. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

4. Payment

You can pay with the online payment methods available at checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Klarna), or by bank transfer in advance. Available online methods may depend on your device, delivery country, amount and payment provider approval. Online payments are processed through Stripe and, where applicable, your selected wallet or payment provider. The total payable is shown before final payment confirmation. For Klarna, the payment terms and due dates shown in its payment dialogue also apply.

For bank transfer, the total is due after the contract is concluded. The recipient, IBAN, amount and payment reference appear in your order overview. Please use the stated reference. Instant bank transfer is possible but not required; we check receipt of bank transfers manually. Online payments are confirmed using the payment provider’s response. A delayed status update does not require you to pay an amount you have already paid again.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the delivery addresses offered during checkout in Germany, the other available member states of the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Delivery takes no more than 7 calendar days within Germany and 14 calendar days to the other offered EU countries, in each case after receipt of payment. The period begins on the day after payment is received. Manual confirmation in our system does not postpone the start of the delivery period.

For consumers, we bear the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods during shipping until they are handed over to the consumer or a person designated by them to receive the goods. Statutory exceptions remain unaffected.

6. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until they have been paid for in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal. Details, the return address and the model withdrawal form are available in our withdrawal policy. The electronic “Withdraw from contract” function is accessible through the link of the same name in the shop footer.

Choosing an offered standard color, cable type or Standard/Secure-Lock version does not in itself exclude the right of withdrawal.

8. Rights concerning defects and liability

Statutory rights concerning defects apply. For new goods, consumers’ claims for defects generally become time-barred two years after delivery; statutory special provisions and extensions remain unaffected. Information about statutory rights concerning defects does not constitute an additional guarantee.

We are liable for damage in accordance with statutory provisions. These terms do not agree to any restriction of statutory consumer rights.

9. Applicable law and dispute resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they habitually reside. Statutory places of jurisdiction remain unaffected.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
